Turunc has advised Gelecek Etki Fonu (Future Impact Fund) on its investment in Onlayer in a round that also saw the participation of Maxis, Global Trust Ventures, and individual investors. Cigdemtekin Cakirca Aranci reportedly advised Onlayer.

Onlayer is a provider of onboarding, monitoring, and compliance management tools for banks and payment service providers. 

Gelecek Etki Fonu is a Capital Markets Board-regulated venture capital fund managed jointly by Tacirler Asset Management and Vestel Ventures.

Turunc has advised Bogazici Ventures on its investment in GameChanger Worldwide.

Bogazici Ventures is a Turkish Capital Markets Board-regulated venture capital fund focused on fintech, health tech, retail tech, and gaming.

She has been with the firm since 2018 when she joined as an Associate. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2019 and Managing Associate in 2023.

Earlier, she was an Attorney at Law with Schoenherr between 2016 and 2018 and an Associate with Yuksel Karkin Kucuk between 2013 and 2016.

Turunc has advised Netcad on its pre-IPO funding round with Hedef Portfoy, Findoor Girisim Sermayesi Yatirım Fonu, Ral Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi, and two Neo Portfoy funds participating. Atar Avci reportedly advised Hedef Portfoy.

Netcad is a software development company specializing in geographical information systems and computer-aided design.

Akol has advised Visne Madencilik on its initial public offering and listing on Borsa Istanbul.

Paksoy, working with Linklaters’ Brussels office, has advised Ontex Group on the sale of its Turkish subsidiary Dilek Grup. Peynircioglu Eren advised the buyers.

The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

According to Paksoy, the subsidiary in question covers Ontex Group’s operations in Turkiye, associated export business, and manufacturing facility in Istanbul. 

Dilek Grup is a distributor of fast-moving consumer goods in Turkiye and neighboring countries.

Norton Rose Fulbright’s Turkish affiliate law firm Pekin Bayar Mizrahi has advised the Cleversoft Group on its acquisition of Fineksus from Ahmet Vefik Dincer and Mehmet Ali Tombalak. Bener advised the sellers.

Fineksus is a regtech company offering financial messaging and AML solutions in Turkiye and the Middle East.

Former Pearson Legal Director Dinc Sanver has joined PwC Turkiye as its new Director of the Legal Department.

Before the move, Sanver was the Legal Director at Pearson between 2022 and 2025. Earlier, he was a General Counsel and Local Compliance Officer with Teva Pharmaceuticals between 2020 and 2022 as well as a Compliance Manager with Zimmer Biomet between 2017 and 2020. Earlier still, he was a Legal Compliance Manager with Samsung Electronics Turkiye between 2011 and 2017.

“I am very excited because I can apply my expertise in regional roles to a local organization and such a reputable company like PwC,” Sanver said. “I am looking to promote the legal department within the organization and enhance its legal processes. My main priority is to maintain a healthy contract system to minimize risks in legal transactions and make legal processes efficient.”

Akol has advised Kaspi.kz on its acquisition of a 65.41% stake in Hepsiburada for USD 1.127 billion.

Kazakhstan-based Kaspi.kz provides retail financial and investment services.

Hepsiburada, officially known as D-Market Electronic Services & Trading, is a NASDAQ-listed Turkish e-commerce platform.
