  • Rymarz Zdort Maruta Advises Reikon Games on Sale of Ruiner Game Adaptation Rights

    Rymarz Zdort Maruta has advised Reikon Games on the sale of the adaptation rights to the Ruiner game to Universal Pictures.

    Reikon Games is a Warsaw-based independent game development studio established in 2014. Published in 2017, Ruiner was the Studio’s first project.

    According to Rymarz Zdort Maruta, “as a result of the deal, Ruiner will add to Universal’s portfolio of movie titles as its newest computer game adaptation, which will stand alongside two other productions in the segment, The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Five Nights at Freddy’s, both of which brought commercial success to Universal in 2023.”

  • Gide and WKB Advise on Enterprise Investors’s Sale of Nu-Med Group to Affidea

    Gide Warsaw has advised Polish Enterprise Fund VII on the sale of Nu-Med to Affidea. Wiercinski Kwiecinski Baehr advised Affidea.

    The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

    Polish Enterprise Fund VII is a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors.

    Nu-Med is a Polish company specializing in radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients.

    Affidea is a pan-European provider of specialist healthcare services, including cancer care, advanced diagnostic imaging, and community-based polyclinics.

    MFW Fialek has advised Tutore Poland on its full acquisition of Langmedia from Ecapital and Pawel Kowalczyk. DZP advised the sellers.

    Tutore Poland operates in the education industry using an online educational platform that brings together teachers and students.

    LangMedia is a language school in Poland offering passive learning via eTutor. Its offer includes language courses for individuals and enterprises.

    Earlier in 2024, MFW Fialek advised on Langmedia and Tutore Poland’s PLN 61.2 million financing from mBank (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on July 15, 2024) as well as on additional financing in January 2024 (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 12, 2024).   • Rymarz Zdort Maruta and SKJB Advise on Trademarc Property Fund’s Sale of BTS Warsaw West Warehouse

    Rymarz Zdort Maruta has advised Trademarc Property Fund on the sale of a 37,590-square-meter built-to-suit warehouse located in Teresin, west of Warsaw. SKJB Szybkowski Kuzma Jelen Brzoza-Ostrowska also advised Trademarc as well as Panattoni who co-developed the project.

    The buyer and transaction amount have not been disclosed.

    According to Rymarz Zdort Maruta, the buyer and the transaction amount have not been disclosed. “The entire property is leased out to a distributor of globally recognized FMCG brands, small domestic appliances, and HoReCa products. Completed in cooperation with Panattoni, the building was tailored to the tenant’s needs.”

  • Norton Rose Fulbright Advises BNP Paribas Bank Polska on Extension of Argon Office Loan

    Norton Rose Fulbright, working with Harneys, has advised BNP Paribas Bank Polska and other lenders on the extension of a loan to ISOC/Blackrod to finance the Argon office building located in Gdansk, Poland. KNP Kaminski reportedly advised the borrower.

    According to Norton Rose, “Argon is a LEED Platinium and WELL Health-Safety certified office building, with a total leasable space of 38,000 square meters. The project was acquired in 2019 by ISOC/Blackrod a part of ISOC Group an international real estate investment arm of ISOC Holdings, represented in Poland by asset manager Augusta Cracovia.”

    LegalKraft has advised Vastint Poland on a lease agreement for PKO Bank Polski at the Gdynia Waterfront complex.

    According to LegalKraft, “the transaction involves a significant 6,000 square meter space, marking it as one of the most substantial lease agreements in the Tri-City area this year, and a noteworthy deal at the national level.”
