  • Spasov and Bratanov and CMS Advise on IFC and Raiffeisenbank International’s EUR 90 Million Financing for R Engineering

    Spasov and Bratanov, working with Clifford Chance, has advised the International Finance Corporation and Raiffeisenbank International on the EUR 90 million financing for R Engineering to construct a solar power park. CMS advised R Engineering.

    R Engineering is a subsidiary of Rezolv Energy.

    Inn-Flex is an Italian company with a portfolio of flexible packaging products used in different industries.

    Papir Print is a Serbian company operating in the areas of flexible packaging for the food industry, packaging for beverages, and pharmaceutical products.

  • Schoenherr and BPV Huegel Advise on Headwall Photonics’ Acquisition of EVK DI Kerschhaggl

    Schoenherr has advised Headwall Photonics on the acquisition of Austria-headquartered EVK DI Kerschhaggl. BPV Huegel advised the sellers.

    Headwall Photonics is a US-based spectral imaging solutions and optical components company. It is a part of the Headwall Group and produces hyperspectral imaging products for airborne remote sensing, industrial machine vision, and other applications.

    EVK specializes in sensor-based sorting and inspection technologies used across the recycling, mining, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors.

  • Drakopoulos Advises Guy Carpenter on Full Acquisition of Carpenter Turner

    Drakopoulos has advised Guy Carpenter on the acquisition of the remaining 51.5% stake in Carpenter Turner from Noorstar Investments. Apostolos Georgiades & Associates reportedly advised the sellers.

    Guy Carpenter is a risk and reinsurance specialist and part of Marsh McLennan, a professional services firm headquartered in New York with businesses in insurance brokerage, risk management, reinsurance services, talent management, investment advisory, and management consulting.

    Carpenter Turner is a regional reinsurance broker and consultancy firm based in Athens. 

    According to Drakopoulos, by fully integrating Carpenter Turner into its operations, Guy Carpenter seeks to bolster its presence in Greece, Cyprus, the Balkans, and Turkey, aligning with its growth strategy across the region.

  • Meltem Ozker Gunduz Joins GE HealthCare as General Counsel

    Former Novo Nordisk Regional General Counsel and Vice President for legal, compliance, and quality in the Asia Pacific region Meltem Ozker Gunduz has joined GE HealthCare as its new General Counsel.

    Before the move, Ozker Gunduz spent almost 15 years with Novo Nordisk, first as a Legal Affairs and Compliance Director between 2010 and 2017, then as its Regional General Counsel and Vice President for legal, compliance, and quality in the Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Oceania regions between 2017 and 2020, and finally in a similar position focusing on the Asia Pacific region between 2020 and 2024. Earlier, she worked at Herguner Bilgen Ozeke as a Lawyer between 2006 and 2010.

  • GKC Partners Advises Gulermak on TRY 4.845 Billion IPO

    White & Case’s Turkish affiliate law firm GKC Partners has advised Gulermak Heavy Industries Construction & Contracting on its TRY 4.845 billion IPO on Borsa Istanbul.

    Gulermak is a Turkish EPC contractor.

    According to GKC Partners, the IPO resulted in a 12.01% public float ratio. Gulermak shares were oversubscribed 3.2 times.

  • NKA Advises EPH on Acquisition of Stake in West Burton Energy

    Nedelka Kubac Advokati has advised Energeticky a Prumyslovy Holding on its acquisition of a 50% stake in West Burton Energy from TotalEnergies.

    EPH is a Czech Republic-based company investing primarily in the energy sector in Europe, founded in 2009.

    According to NKA, “West Burton Energy operates a 1.3-gigawatt gas-fired power plant and a 49-megawatt battery storage system in the UK.”

    Olimpia shopping center is located at 5 Azenes Street in Riga, has a net lettable area of 20,991 square meters, and offers a range of sports and leisure goods in Latvia.

    Indexo Real Estate Fund is managed by Provendi Asset Management AIFP.
