  • Carmen Redmann-Wippel Makes Partner at Taylor Wessing

    Taylor Wessing has promoted Carmen Redmann-Wippel to Partner as part of its latest promotion round.

    Redmann-Wippel’s core area of focus is banking & finance. She has been with Taylor Wessing since 2023 when she joined as Counsel. Earlier, she was an in-house Senior Legal Adviser with Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank between 2020 and 2023. Earlier still, she worked for Freshfields as an Associate between 2013 and 2017 and as a Senior Associate between 2017 and 2020.

  • Bernhard Koeck Joins CHG Czernich as Partner

    Bernhard Koeck has joined CHG Czernich as a Partner to primarily support the Business Law and Banking & Finance practice groups.

    Koeck focuses primarily on litigation. Before joining CHG Czernich, he was a Counsel with Jank Weiler Operenyi | Deloitte Legal between 2018 and 2025 as well as with Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner between 2015 and 2018. Earlier, he worked for BML as an Attorney at Law between 2008 and 2014 and for Wolf Theiss as a Senior Associate between 2002 and 2008. He began his career working for Preslmayr as an Associate between 1999 and 2002.

    SSW Pragmatic Solutions has advised Magdalena Wozniak on the sale of a 51% stake in Eurodiagnostic to Diagnostyka.

    Eurodiagnostic is a provider of mobile diagnostic imaging solutions. Magdalena Wozniak is a professor of radiology.

    Diagnostyka is a medical company offering laboratory services.

  • Weinhold Legal Advises Leo Mobility Management on Creditas Rail’s Entry and Railcar Acquisition

    Weinhold Legal has advised Leo Mobility Management on Creditas Rail’s investment entry as well as on the purchase of 72 railcars from Train Charter Services for subsequent future leasing. Ploum reportedly advised Train Charter Services.

    Leo Mobility Management is a rolling stock leasing company.

    Creditas Rail acquired a 51% stake in both Leo Mobility Management and Leo Mobility Holding.

    Wolf Theiss has advised Visma on its acquisition of Finmatics. Brandl Talos advised the sellers.

    Finmatics is a provider of pre-accounting software serving more than 1,200 accounting offices, corporates, and SMBs in Austria and Germany.

    Visma is a provider of cloud software. It had a reported revenue of EUR 2.8 billion in 2024, employs 16,400 people, and serves over 2 million customers across Europe and Latin America.

    According to Brandl Talos, with this acquisition, Visma broadens its core product offering to accountants in the DACH region while Finmatics enhances its market-leading position by leveraging an AI-powered autonomous accounting solution that streamlines and automates financial processes such as invoice handling and cross-system accounting data exchange.

  • Wardynski & Partners Advises Heliaca Investments on Acquisition of Light-Duty Segment from Westport Fuel Systems

    Wardynski & Partners, working with Gianni & Origoni, has advised Heliaca Investments Cooperatief on the acquisition of Westport Fuel Systems’ interest in Westport Fuel Systems Italia which includes the Light-Duty segment.

    The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

    Westport Fuel Systems is a supplier of advanced fuel delivery components and systems for a range of alternative low-carbon fuels.

    Heliaca Investments Cooperatief is a Netherlands-based investment firm.

  • Papapolitis & Papapolitis Advises Evropi Holdings on Acquisition of Europa Insurance

    Papapolitis & Papapolitis has advised Evropi Holdings on the acquisition of a 65% stake in Europa Insurance. 

    According to Papapolitis & Papapolitis, this transaction reinforces Evropi Holdings’ role as the investment vehicle of Intracom Holdings.

  • CMS advises Geosolar Kamenyak on Licensing of Kamenyak PV project

    CMS has advised Geosolar Kamenyak on licensing for the 75-megawatt Kamenyak photovoltaic project by the Bulgarian Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. 

    Licensing before the regulator was finalized beginning of April 2025.

    According to CMS, the construction of the project in Shumen Municipality is well underway – it is expected it will reach commercial operation in June 2025 for the first stage and in September 2025 for the second stage.
